I am sure you have seen parking lots and roadways that have been in place for a period of time.  Many of them have a variety of cracking that can be qualified in specific ways.  There are numerous categories of cracking too extensive to review here, but suffice it to say that along with seal coating, crack filling is equally important to maintain the integrity of your pavement.  As pavement ages and becomes more brittle, with the shifting of the sub-grade cracks eventually open the surface.  Once this occurs the pavement is subject to further deterioration from water leakage causing the sub-grade to further expand and degrade.  There is a way to stop this from happening.

Falcon evaluates all pavement distress, categorizes the failure modes and then determines the best solution for intervening and preventing or at least mitigating or delaying further deterioration.  This might involve usage of various  hot polymer added rubberized crack fill sealers, multiple coats as well as fillers to keep the material from being displaced or washed away.  In some cases with particularly wide cracks it might be best to saw-cut the crack and back fill with hot asphalt.  This is a typical solution used for cracks in the 2  or 3 inch wide category.  Each situation is different, but rest assured that we will recommend the exact solution to meet the problem.
